The best rod was born.

Exocet88. reborn from ExocettSS.
The action of the rod is now more perfect than ever.
I especially use the 300gr and 350gr for saltwater fishing.
The perfect line approach and the rod power after hooking a fish is very impressive.
The Exocet88 is the best rod that has evolved.
I am using this rod now in Japan.
I enjoy fly fishing for trevally and triggerfish.
The Exocet88 is the very best rod I have ever had.

THE SEYCHELLES PREFERENCE

"After countless hours of testing the latest materials and designs in the the brutal waters of the Seychelles, T&T has made a rod that I’m proud to say is without doubt my preferred rod for saltwater. The 11# and 12# are both great for casting big flies with precision but importantly powerful to pull any GT. The 10# will tame any milkfish and the 8# and 9# has fineness to trick the finicky and power to pull any triggerfish or permit. They are so powerful that I often fish an 11# for GTs and an 8# for permit as they cast bigger flies with ease. We exclusively fish T&T at all our Alphonse Fishing Co destinations by choice. The Sextant is the product of thousands of hours on the water through the guides eyes, into the T&T families ears, designs and finished product. They won’t let you down in harsh environments where you can’t be let down."

Sextant to the Rescue

The Sextant is the rod of my dreams and the hard work T&T poured into this rig is apparent in every cast. I'm lucky to carry exclusively T&T rods on my boat while guiding in Maine and also at my Lodge down in the Bahamas. The Sextant is far from a one trick pony. I get to watch new and experienced anglers both equally excel with this stick. It's smooth, easy to cast and not fast just for the sake of being fast... it's fast with a purpose, fast to deliver a quick cast or handle a heavy fly and fast to be deadly accurate at whatever distance is practical to button up to the next fish of your life. Handing these rods to clients in the Bahamas and Maine I feel confident that I'm giving people the best tool to be successful... and when I get to sneak away for a fish myself, the Sextant is in my hand. The great functionality of this rod is coupled with a beautiful finish and excellent durability. I beat my gear up and the Sextant continues to perform. Good work T&T, keep it coming.

Sextant 6wt - A fabulous "crossover" rod

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and usually fly fishing within 30-40 min drive from home. Essentially an urban fly fishing of very different waters - the Pacific Surf, the quiet Bay, reservoirs and creeks coming down from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The 6 wt Sextant has emerged as a perfect "do it all rod" which does not leave my car. It has the backbone to cast closures in the surf and the delicacy to present dries when necessary. I love the action. I love the look. I love everything about this rod."
