T&T Ambassadors Capt Justin Rea and Jose Briceno win the Del Brown Grand Champion

T&T Ambassadors Capt. Justin Rea and Jose Briceno brought their skills and experience together to take home another Grand Champion win in the Del Brown Tournament.

The Del Brown Tournament isn't a new experience for Justin or Jose. This year marks over 20 years of competing in the tournament for Justin. Over the years he has accomplished 5 Grand Champion wins, 3 of which with Jose as his partner. This also marks the most 1st place finishes by a guide in tournament history - and he's also taken home two 2nd place finishes, a third place finish and won the Largest Fish three times - he's no stranger to finding these fish and putting numbers up on the board. 

Catching big permit together is one of the things Capt Justin and Jose do well together - in addition to their Del Brown wins, they've also competed in the March Merkin. Justin has 6 overall wins with the March Merkin, along with second place finishes. 

Justin shared that last year he was ready to give up tournament fishing, but Jose talked him out of it. It paid off with their Grand Champion win this year.
