The lotic is a wonderful glass 3 weight!

This is the most accurate rod I have ever cast! I fish small creeks here in Central Wyoming and hitting a 2 ft wide creek with some wind is always a challenge for me. This rod has helped!
I have only had this for about 2 months but it seems extremely tough. I live on a ranch and carry it with me everywhere as you never know when a fishing opportunity is going to present itself. The rod tube is extremely tough as it rides in the back of the side by side with rolls of barb wire.
Thanks Thomas and Thomas. I smile every time I cast and that great feeling is due to the wonderful nature of this rod.

    A cannon

I own 3 rods…all glass and the 7105 is my go to for streamers especially… everything from big browns to smallies and shad and bluefish in the salt. It fishes a 5 and a 6 equally well with a ton of feedback and strength. Ease up and drop a dry/dropper or cannon out a clouser this rod is a wonder.

    So accurate and smooth

I fished the 7’4- 4 weight and was so impressed with the accuracy, smoothness and range.
It handled my 22” rainbow easily and made my day.

    The best

I've been fishing the 5wt and the 3wt for a while now, and they've entirely replaced my desire for graphite. I love that I can still cast nearly the entire fly line with the 5wt rod, and there is nothing better than the 3wt on a small stream or dry fly action. These have become my go-to rods. Extremely high quality and perfect feel. I've even caught a ton of silver salmon on the 5wt...its a blast. I'd go glass every time after fishing these rods for months.

    Impressive!

My Lotic 7105-3 is a perfect blend of grace and power. It provides tremendous feedback when fishing and is simply a pleasure to cast. Dry flies, small streamers and even panfish poppers all cast equally well with this rod. Delicate dry fly casts? No problem! Reach out and sail a panfish popper across a small cove? Done! Protect light tippets? Like a boss! Deliver an awesome bend-in-the-rod with a fish on that I crave in a glass rod? Absolutely! I tried several rods before buying the Lotic, but it proved to be the right rod: light weight, great medium action with good recovery speed and the feel of a genuine, the-real-deal, glass rod. Finally, the rod is very accurate. I've done some tight-quarters warm water fishing with this rod, tossing small nymphs and poppers into some very tight spots in weed beds and structure, and this rod will place a fly right where you aim every time. I fish the rod with a WF5F line with a more aggressive taper (GPX/MPX) and it works quite well. It will also make good use of a similar style WF6F, slowing the rod down just a bit, and it takes very nicely to a Classic Peach in WF6F. The quality of the rod is exactly what you'd expect from Thomas & Thomas, with top notch components and an absolutely beautiful blank. An impressive rod - well done!
