At 8'8" with a steep taper, the Exocett™ 88 offers ultra-fast recovery, enabling effortless long-distance casting.
Designed to minimize fatigue, it’s perfect for all-day fishing. Built with proprietary multi-modulus carbon and S-Glass layups, the 88 has significantly more strength than previous composites, giving it superior hoop strength and reducing swing weight. This design provides excellent tracking, precision, and accuracy, along with extreme lifting power when you need it most.
The 88 series also features AFTMA line weight and suggested grain weight labels, simplifying fly line selection.

A rod this length that is accurate is one thing. The fact that that same rod can shoot backing out of the tip in a couple false casts is a whole other level of awesome. This thing is a weapon plain and simple.
The rod and the craftmanship is amazing - cast like a dream and pure joy to look at. Amazing how thin the 9wt blank is - feels light in hand too despite the rubber cork.
A bit disappointed that the rod tube and bag are the same as your 9 foot rods and not tailored to the shorter rod.
Once again, T&T delivered. Great striper rod!
This is the rod that swing big fly with an attitude. John and Mark helped me lined it and been using it for lake trout. Amazingly light for its size and strength is unmatched
