Limited Edition Avantt II 905:
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to support an organization that harnesses the power of fly fishing as a pathway to healing and recovery for women with breast cancer. Casting for Recovery (CfR) is a national nonprofit organization that provides free healing outdoor retreats for women with breast cancer, using fly fishing as a therapeutic tool.
To show our support, we have donated a custom-wrapped Avantt II to Casting for Recovery for them to use in an upcoming fundraiser. We look forward to furthering their mission of bringing healing and hope to women affected by breast cancer.
In response to the incredible support and inquiries we've received regarding this rod, we've made it available to the public and will be donating 10% of the proceeds directly to Casting for Recovery. Together, we cast for hope, resilience, and recovery.
Limited Edition: Only 25 Avantt II 905s are available, each uniquely numbered.
Complimentary inscriptions on these limited edition rods are encouraged for friends, family, supporters, and survivors to honor their loved ones with a custom inscription.
*In the notes for your order, please specify your personal rod inscription. All inscriptions are handwritten in ink, so please limit your character count to under 50 characters without spaces.
**Please note that these rods are built to order and can take up to four weeks to ship.
ABOUT CASTING FOR RECOVERY
Founded in 1996 by breast reconstructive surgeon Dr. Benita Walton and fly fishing guide Gwenn Perkins Bogart, CfR aims to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors through a unique program that combines nature, oncology and peer support, and fly fishing instruction.
Each year, CfR hosts over 60 retreats across the U.S., serving more than 800 women, many of whom have never attended a support group. These retreats are free of charge and offer a safe, supportive environment where women can connect with others facing similar challenges. The focus is not only on learning the art of fly fishing but also on physical, emotional, and medical support, with guidance from trained volunteers, oncology professionals, and fly fishing instructors.
CfR is fueled by a network of 1,800 volunteers and partners with various organizations to promote conservation and empower women. By offering retreats tailored to participants' needs, including specialized retreats for those with metastatic breast cancer, CfR has built a legacy of fostering healing and community through outdoor experiences.
