The 8’6" Montana features a medium-fast dry fly action designed to throw a long line when needed, yet it retains surprising short-range fishability. This model is the first choice of many anglers for all-purpose fishing, dry or wet. The extra length affords the reach, balance, and power to make all-day fishing tireless, and the smooth delivery makes casting a pleasure. 

This Montana is fitted with a western-style grip and uplocking nickel-silver screw lock reel seat, including a mortised burled walnut spacer. Cinnamon guide wraps with chestnut edging, and gun-blued ferrules with chestnut wraps compliment the flamed tortoise shell blank. The rod is a 2/2 configuration with the distinctive T&T swelled butt and mirror matched tips.
