A worthy case for my favorite rod

I got this leather tube for my 7 1/2 foot 4 weight Specialist bamboo rod. It is very high quality and beautiful. What else would you expect from Thomas and Thomas? What surprised me most was the price. Many leather rod tubes of this quality sell for almost double. I am very happy that my absolute favorite rod now has a worthy case to travel in. If you’ve got a T&T bamboo rod it deserves this leather rod tube.

Leather tube for a T&T classic rod

I bought the leather rod tube to put a classic T&T graphite in, the "Special Dry Fly". The tube is very well built, the strap may be a little thick as I have trouble getting it through the buckle but that will probably get easier as I use it more. The tube is even lined with a nice fabric material. Certainly a fitting rod tube for a T&T bamboo! The tube is just so classy looking, it even smells of fine leather. It satisfies a kind of old school tradition in a sport that never gets old. Thank you T&T. Rod Cross
