Built with proprietary multi-modulus carbon and S-Glass layups, the 88 has significantly more strength than previous composites, giving it superior hoop strength and reducing swing weight. This design provides excellent tracking, precision, and accuracy, along with extreme lifting power when you need it most.
The 88 series also features AFTMA line weight and suggested grain weight labels, simplifying fly line selection.

I was able to quickly adjust to the new feel and deliver flies exactly where I wanted them. The handsome finish and full wells cork compliment its performance. I really like the composite cork on the first few cork rings as well. Another great series of rods from Thomas & Thomas. Well done!!
