The Mill Brook is a unique, one of a kind rod, built as a prototype model intended for New England’s many small brooks. One of these gems, Mill Brook, courses through the property here at Thomas & Thomas, hence the inspiration for the name. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of T&T history.

This delicate 6’ rod has a crisp, medium-fast action for dry fly work with tiny flies, size 18-28, and ultra-light tippets, 6x to 8x. With even the smallest fish a thrill to catch, the Mill Brook is the epitome of diminutive rods and perfect for the angler seeking the ultimate in sport. 

The rod has a honey-blonde, heat tempered 2/2 blank with the distinctive T&T swelled butt and mirror matched tips, finished with spar varnish. Four decorative intermediate wraps above the small cigar grip give way to clear guide wraps with cinnamon edging  and chestnut ferrule wraps. The reel seat is a downlocking nickel-silver cap and ring, with stacked bamboo spacer. Hand-engraving of the cap and ring are complemented by a patinated gun-blued finish, while the guides and ferrules are also gun-blued to minimize flash.
