Who introduced you to fly fishing?

Can you tell us a little about your home waters and the fish you pursue there?
Water starts from the snow pack in the rocky mountains which flows into many rivers. This is where we pursue rainbows and browns.
What's the height of the season for you? What time of year is your personal favorite?
All seasons! In this way your can use many different types of flies from the cold months with midges to the way summer green drakes and streamers.
What are your favorite travel destinations? What's on the bucket list?
I don't have a favorite destination. I would love to hit Alaska, New Zealand for starters!
What you like most about Thomas and Thomas rods? Which rods do you fish?
The rods are designed to fish and have a lot of backbone. I have fished these rods from 1991 to the present day I know a quality fly rod when I throw one.
What's your current go-to fly?
I like the TNT 907S-4. This is my stick for when I really get serious chasing big trout. I can toss small to large streamers and the back bone to bring them in.
Other than fly tackle, what piece of gear do you find indispensable?
My Pontoon boat from Outcast.
My favorite thing about guiding is:
I do fly casting classes to be able to teach different individuals the art of fly casting so that each person has the ability to present a fly in the most difficult situations on any river.
From the angler’s point of view, what do you see as the main value of going on a guided trip?
If you know nothing about a river that you are going to fish a guide is the best investment that money can buy.
What's your ideal lunch when on the water? What do you actually pack?
1 sandwich, 2 oranges, 2 snack bars, 1 snickers, 5 bottles of water
