Who introduced you to fly fishing?
My dad first took me when I was two years old, and I've been doing it since I can remember - fishing is in my blood.
Can you tell us a little about your home waters and the fish you pursue there?
I'm a full-time guide in Key West, Florida, chasing permit, tarpon and bonefish.
What season is your favorite time to fish?
My favorite times of year are spring for tarpon and winter for snook.
What's on your fishing bucket list?
I'd like to chase Arapaima.
What do you like most about Thomas and Thomas rods? Which rods do you fish?
I fish the Sextant. I love the power the rod has to break through windy situations, and how the rod has a soft finish every time.
What's your current go-to fly?
That's a secret!
Other than fly tackle, what piece of gear do you find indispensable?
I use spin tackle quite often as well, and I think Thomas and Thomas would make a great spinning or casting rod.
My favorite thing about guiding is:
Watching the smile on people's faces when landing their dream fish! And, just making peoples dreams come true out on the water.
From an angler's point of view, what do you see as the main value of going on a guided trip?
Increasing their success in a place they have no experience in! To enjoy and experience a place to the most, going with someone knowledgeable about the area is of huge value.
