Who introduced you to fly fishing?

 My Mom and Dad

Can you tell us a little about your home waters and the fish you pursue there?

I spend up to 300 days a year chasing Tarpon Permit Bonefish, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish and everything else that swims the oceans around the keys.

What's the height of the season for you? What time of year is your personal favorite?

February through July is the main season with the height of it being May and June. My favorite times of the year are the warm spells between cold fronts in the winter months.

What are your favorite travel destinations? What's on the bucket list?

I have been spending a lot of time in Mexico hosting trips. Dying to go to the Seychelles.

What do you like most about Thomas and Thomas rods? Which rods do you fish?

I like how light and crisp they are. I fish the 9 Exco the most. The 8'8 350 is also a fish killer!

What's your current go-to fly?

Really depends on the species I am fishing for at the time. If its bonefish I use my fly called the Green Eyed Lady.

Other than fly tackle, what piece of gear do you find indispensable?

My Maverick HPX with a Yamaha 115 vmax. Cant go fishing with out it.

My favorite thing about guiding is:

The best part of guiding is getting to see fishing and nature that not many people get to see.

From the angler’s point of view, what do you see as the main value of going on a guided trip?

The value of going on a guided trip is everything you can learn from an expert in that region.

What can new fisherman expect to get out of a guided trip? My favorite thing to teach a client is ...

New fisherman can walk away from a guided trip with a better understanding of what it takes to become a successful saltwater fly fisherman. My favorite thing to teach a new client is different casting techniques.

What's your ideal lunch when on the water? What do you actually pack?

Really whatever the customer brings for lunch is cool.
